Kwame Nkrumah International Conference: From Colonization to Globalization: The Intellectual and Political Legacies of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Africa's Future
August 19-21, 2010 in the Richmond Campus Confernece Centre.
The Conference will commemorate the centenary of the birthday of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Africa's Man of the Millennium, and bring scholars and students from Canada and from the around the world to share research and ideas on Africa's place in the global community.

This interdisciplinary conference celebrated the publication of Cosmetic Surgery: A Feminist Primer (Heyes & Jones eds., Ashgate, 2009) with presentations by anthology authors and others whose work explores the mainstreaming and proliferation of cosmetic surgeries.
