Reading Circles
The Reading Circles provide an exceptional opportunity to read a good book and discuss it with colleagues. The Centre has a selection of thought provoking books that focus on various aspects of enhanced and engaged learning.
How it works:
- Review the Reading Circle Books list;
- Discuss your interest with Alice Macpherson who can explain the process;
- Locate 3 or 4 colleagues who want to read with you;
- Sign out your chosen book;
- Schedule your first meeting with the group;
- As a group decide on how often to meet and meeting expectations;
- Prepare a book review - a couple of paragraphs on what you got out of the book;
- Submit your book review to Alice Macpherson; and,
- Are you ready?... Keep the book!
