Document Submission
Official transcripts are the academic records from a high school or post-secondary institution you have attended. An official transcript can be requested from a provincial department of education, a secondary or post-secondary institution. Official transcripts must be received in a sealed school envelope bearing an official stamp or seal or they will be deemed unofficial.
High School Transcripts
BC High School Graduates
BC high school graduates can arrange to have their official high school transcripts sent directly to Kwantlen at their request through the BC Ministry of Education.

Alternatively, BC graduates may submit, in-person, high school transcript(s) enclosed in a school envelope bearing a printed logo, stamp or official school seal. BC high school graduates applying to Kwantlen may be required to submit their PEN.
Applicants Currently Attending High School in BC
For applicants currently attending a high school within BC, Kwantlen will automatically receive your final transcript from the Ministry of Education in July, provided you have completed the online Post-Secondary Institutions' Selections form. To ensure this information is sent to Kwantlen applicants must complete and submit the form online at http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/transcript/transcripts_info.htm. Final grades will be reviewed when they become available, and Kwantlen will accept the better of the classroom grade or the blended grade that includes the Provincial Examination.
High school graduates from outside of BC
Applicants currently attending or those who have graduated from a high school outside of BC will be required to submit an official transcript of their final grades for admission purposes. Transcripts may be mailed from the issuing body, direct to Kwantlen, or submitted in-person at any Kwantlen campus. Transcripts must be enclosed in a school envelope bearing a printed logo, stamp or official school seal.
Post-secondary Transcripts
Applicants that have completed post-secondary studies at another institution may submit official transcripts. Official transcripts will be sent to Kwantlen at the student's request and must be sent directly to Kwantlen's Admissions office from the institution attended/issuing body in a sealed envelope, signed by the institution or bearing an official seal.
All documents submitted to Kwantlen become the property of Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Neither the original document nor copies will be released to you or anyone outside of the institution. Applicants who do not attend and wish to re-apply later may be required to submit a new set of documents.

International Credential / Transcript Submission
Applicants that have completed education outside of Canada are required to submit official, original credentials issued by the governing body to Kwantlen Admissions. (Certified translations are required when the original language is not in English or French) Official credentials must be sent directly from the issuing body to Kwantlen Admissions. Official credentials must be a detailed statement of completed courses and corresponding grades. A graduation statement is also required on the credential when applicable.
(Notarized Copies are not accepted by Kwantlen)
All applicants are also required to meet Kwantlen's English proficiency requirement.
