Cindy Masaro
Cindy choose to attend Kwantlen as she had two young children and only Kwantlen provided the flexible learning environment she required to pursue a degree in nursing. Since graduating from Kwantlen in 1996, Cindy has gone on to complete a degree in nursing, worked as a surgical nurse in the Lower Mainland and eventually the position of research coordinator for the BC Centre for Disease Control. Six years ago, Cindy founded an international relief organization called Health for Humanity and has been the team leader of this group for their past four missions to Guatemala.
