Head Coach - Srdjan Djekanovic

Former professional soccer player, Djekanovic was the first soccer player in Canadian history to play for all three Canadian professional soccer teams; the Vancouver Whitecaps, Toronto FC, and the Montreal Impact. In addition, Djekanovic has represented Canada multiple times, internationally, at the Senior and U-20 levels. Djekanovic played soccer at the university level with the UBC Thunderbirds contributing to two CIS Championships (2005 and 2007). In 2006, he was named to the CIS All-Canadian 2nd Team and the Canada West 1st Team after leading the conference with a 0.78 goals-against-average and a 0.851 save percentage. Djekanovic’s coaching experience and success includes an Assistant Coaching position at UBC from 2010-2012 during which time he led the team to the Canada West playoffs and the title of CIS Champions (2012). Djekanovic currently coaches with the Fusion FC U-17 Boys, U17/18 Girls, U-13 Boys, USL Super 20’s and Central City Breakers U-18 Boys. He is also Head Coach of the Revolution FC All-Stars and is Director and Head Coach of Primo Sports Soccer Academy. An alum of UBC with a History Major and Sociology Minor, Djekanovic also holds an Education degree from UBC and works as a teacher in the Coquitlam School District.
