Jamshid Shahidi
My teaching career started at the University of Saskatchewan as a visiting assistant professor. After two years of teaching there, I joined Kwantlen Polytechnic University as an Economics Instructor in August of 1982. My areas of academic interest are International Finance and the Economics of Foreign Investment. I am an active member of the Academy of International Business. In the past, I have taught a number of Economics and International Business courses. However, I have over the years redirected my teaching focus from an entirely academic to one which includes a more practical focus to suit the needs of our students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I enjoy swimming, gardening and reading history and politics.
