2009 Kwantlen Business Scholarships and Awards Ceremony

March 27, 2009 - Kwantlen business students recognized at annual scholarship and awards ceremony

Kwantlen Polytechnic University School of Business hosted its annual Scholarship and Awards ceremony at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley.

The ceremony presented over $135,000 in awards, bursaries and scholarships to Kwantlen business students who had demonstrated superior academic achievement, financial need and/or community involvement in a business program.

The top award recipients were as follows:

LANGLEY
-Angela McKinnon (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received five awards totaling $4,100

-Maaz Ghani (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received two awards totaling $10,750
