Spring Convocation is May 31st
Congratulations! you have worked hard to achieve your goals and have completed or are nearing the completion of your program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Convocation is a time-honoured tradition and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University we host two convocation ceremonies each year to celebrate the achievements of our students. It is also an opportunity to commemorate the time you have spent at Kwantlen and recognize this significant milestone with your family and friends.
Kwantlen's 2012 Spring Convocation will take place at the Langley Events Centre on May 31st 2012. The deadline to apply for the Spring 2012 convocation ceremony is February 29, 2012. Simply submit the Student Convocation Ceremony & Regalia Application form on or before the deadline.
Please be advised that all grades required for graduation must be submitted and processed by May 2, 2012 in order for the Graduation Office to assess your graduation eligibility. This includes transfer credit, prior learning assessment, incomplete contracts, course substitutions and any other grades required for graduation. Only those eligible to graduate are able to attend the Spring 2012 Convocation ceremony. Students who are unable to meet this deadline are welcome to apply for our October 2012 Convocation ceremony.
Confirmation letters with information regarding the convocation ceremony will be mailed to all graduands the week of May 22nd. Please make sure your address has been updated on mykwantlen. Further updates regarding upcoming Convocation ceremonies will be made to this website on an ongoing basis as additional ceremony information becomes available – be sure to check back often!
