Government of Canada Small Business Internship Program (SBIP)

Small and medium-sized businesses will receive financial support towards the employment of post-secondary students who will work on e-business projects. The Government of Canada will reimburse 75% of the eligible wages and related expenses such as statutory employee benefits, up to a total of $10,000. Students gain valuable work experience as well as help fund their post-secondary education. Click here for full details.

Wage Subsidies

Summer Career Placements - The Summer Career Placements (SCP) program of Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) is designed to assist students in preparing for their future entry into the labour market. To this end, the program focuses on providing career-related work experience and developmental learning for in-school youth through the provision of a wage subsidy to public, private and not-for-profit employers.
