All information discussed with a Kwantlen Counsellor is considered private and is held in strict confidence. We will not release information to anyone without your written consent. There are a few (very rare) instances when we will break confidentiality:
- when we have reason to believe a student poses a clear, potential danger to self and/or others;
- when a student discloses information regarding current child abuse or neglect; and
- when we are ordered by a court of law to provide confidential records.
If you have any questions about confidentiality, please ask a Kwantlen Counsellor.
If you are experiencing an emergency and it is after hours, please contact the South Fraser Regional Crisis Line 24/7 at 604.951.8855.
If you are looking for information about program or course pre-requisites, course selection, course planning or transfer credit, go to the Educational Advising webpage.
If you are a current Kwantlen student or a graduate of a Kwantlen program and are looking for information about summer or permanent employment, go to the Career Services webpage.
