Fashion Show

As the only program of its kind in Western Canada, Kwantlen's Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Technology prepares students for careers in the global apparel economy. Our students have the skills and knowledge to become leaders in this dynamic industry. However, before they can get there, they need you to come here!
The Show is a premier event in the fashion industry, where our graduating fashion students will present their final lines to sold-out audiences at the River Rock Hotel and Casino. Featuring three separate runway presentations on April 3, 2012, The Show hosts an audience of 2,700 industry professionals, dignitaries, media, Kwantlen alumni and future students. It's an exciting finale of our students' four years of study, and a great opportunity to see Canada's next generation of fashion designers.
Horticulture Awards Ceremony

Kwantlen's School of Horticulture is the only post-secondary offering technology level diplomas in horticulture in the province. Kwantlen is also the primary provider of horticulture apprenticeship training in the province. Each spring the school acknowledges student achievement in Greenhouse and Nursery Production, Landscape Design and Installation, Plant Health, Urban Ecosystems and Turf Management.
Interior Design Grad Show

The Interior Design Grad Show represents the culmination of four intensive years in the Interior Design program and is a celebration of our student's dedication, effort and growth as individuals, as designers and as citizens. It celebrates their achievements with family, friends, faculty, other students, and the greater design community.
The Grad Show is a springboard into launching the ambitious careers of our graduates. Held at the end of the spring semester each year, this showcase event is strategically positioned to attract job offers for graduating students.
Eagles Golf Tournament
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 – Northview Golf & Country Club, Surrey
Kwntlen's annual fund raising tournament offers a day of amazing golf combined with the company of community and corporate leaders, fine food and extraordinary prizes. For more than 10 years, Kwantlen Polytechnic University has created opportunities for student-athletes to compete in intercollegiate athletics while pursuing posts secondary education. From the athletic program's humble beginnings, the Eagles have quickly become more visible and respected contenders in the British Columbia Colleges' Athletic Association.
The Eagles Golf Tournament is one of the many ways that Kwantlen is working with the community to keep the momentum building for years to come.
Interior Design Awards Ceremony
September 2012 – Richmond campus
Kwantlen's Interior Design program is the only CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) accredited Interior Design baccalaureate program in BC. The program simulate a professional design environment that includes small class sizes, peer mentorship, computer technology, and an experienced faculty who are successful in the design profession. The award ceremony is an intimate gathering of industry related donors, award recipients and faculty, to celebrate the achievements of future interior designers.
