Careers
Graduates are in great demand in both the home care sector where wages average $18 per hour in the Community Care sector, and in the facility sector where wages average $20 per hour. In private facilities and agencies wages average $15 per hour. Graduates find work within a few weeks of graduating and several are hired at their practicum sites before they graduate.
Graduates have the opportunity to work in the community as community health workers and in assisted living settings. They work in all levels of continuing care; complex care as well as more traditional extended care facilities.
