Here are the key media outlets to monitor. However, there is often a delay with radio/tv media outlets announcing updates as they are inundated with many requests from police, K-12 schools, post-secondary schools, and other organizations.

Campus Status Information Sources

Visit kwantlen.ca first. It will be the most accurate and up-to-date information source. Morning updates aim to be posted by 6:00 am. (Refresh your browser to ensure you are viewing the most current information).

The kwantlen.ca website can be accessed via handheld wireless devices with internet capabilty. ie. Blackberry, cell phone, etc.

Notices will also be posted to the myKwantlen web portals.

Call Kwantlen's switchboard second. Call 604.599.2100.

Listen to Radio/TV News third. There is often a delay with radio/tv media outlets announcing updates as they are inundated with many requests from police, K-12 schools, post-secondary schools, and other organizations.

Students: Check your mykwantlen and other email accounts for possible class cancellation updates from your instructors. Class cancellation updates will also be accessible by calling 604-599-2100, then pressing the star (*) key. Campus closure notification for students in classes will be made through instructors.

Employees: If a campus closure occurs during working hours you will be notified by email, telephone or in-person.
