Interlibrary Loan Book Request Form

• Books generally arrive within 1-2 weeks.
• You will be notified by email when the book arrives.
• Renewals are not allowed for books obtained through interlibrary loan.
• Kwantlen Polytechnic University Library follows Canadian copyright law. By submitting an interlibrary loan, users agree material provided through Interlibrary Loan must be used solely by the requester for the purpose of private study, research, criticism, and review. All transient or digital copies used to make the paper copy must be deleted.

It's important to remember that:

• Interlibrary loan services are for books that are not part of the KPU collection. Requests for items held by the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Library will be cancelled. If the item you want is on loan, please place a hold rather than submitting an interlibrary loan.
• Items required in less than one week (i.e., 7 days) may not be processed.
• This service is available to current Kwantlen students, staff, and faculty with library accounts in good standing.
• Loan length for Interlibrary loan books: TWO weeks with NO RENEWALS. The overdue fine for non-KPU material is $1/day per item.
• This service is to support research and study at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Requests for personal reading materials are to be placed with your local public library.
