MISSING STUDENT ALERT

November 20, 2008

(RCMP Media Advisory) On Thursday, November 13, 2008, Sahil SHARMA left his home in the Newton area of Surrey to attend classes at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. After his classes, he left the Surrey Campus (72nd Avenue & 128th Street) after 6:00pm and has simply vanished.

Sahil SHARMA is 20-years old, 5' 6" and 144 lbs. He is of South Asian descent with black hair, brown eyes and a slight beard. An international student from India, Sahil SHARMA is a second-year Computer Information Systems student in good standing.

With his disappearance and with the cooperation of family, the Missing Persons Unit at the Surrey RCMP Detachment has made a multitude of inquiries in hopes of locating this student. In addition, there is no indication of any drug or medical issues.
