Kwantlen business students recognized at annual scholarship and awards ceremony

(METRO VANCOUVER, B.C.) Kwantlen Polytechnic University School of Business hosted its annual Scholarship and
Awards ceremony at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley.

The ceremony presented over $135,000 in awards, bursaries and scholarships to Kwantlen business students who
had demonstrated superior academic achievement, financial need and/or community involvement in a business
program.

The top award recipients were as follows:

LANGLEY
-Angela McKinnon (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received five awards
totaling $4,100

RICHMOND
-Maaz Ghani (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received two awards totaling
$10,750
-Brandon Hastings (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received five awards
totaling $6,000
-John Chan (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received an award totaling
$5,000

SURREY
-Sarah Davies (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received two awards
totaling $6,000
-Kunal Sharma (Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership) – received six awards
totaling $4,000

WHITE ROCK
-Christine Bardell (Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting) – received eight awards totaling $5,750
