As we approach our 30th anniversary, Kwantlen has a rich history to celebrate and much to anticipate in the future.
Since becoming a university two years ago, so much has changed at Kwantlen, as everyone has worked diligently to influence and shape our future as one of British Columbia’s most innovative post-secondary institutions. At the forefront of Kwantlen’s ambitions is its continuing commitment to accessibility and to providing all students with the opportunity to be the best they can be. Every student at Kwantlen comes with a unique set of talents, and Kwantlen aspires to help students discover and nurture these abilities and to use them in the best way possible. Students will never be overwhelmed at Kwantlen. No one gets lost on any of our four campuses. Our classes are kept purposefully small, allowing students to work closely with faculty and to get to know their fellow students. In every way, Kwantlen provides a learning environment that welcomes and encourages its students.
We have been working hard to develop new degree options that respond to the interests and needs of our students, knowing that in today’s rapidly changing world we must reinvent ourselves to ensure that students have access to what is most current and most relevant. Our very human dimension ensures that students remain engaged with their studies. While change has become a normal occurrence, Kwantlen has remained steadfast in its commitment to provide outstanding undergraduate education which focuses on preparing students for prosperous careers, as well as on developing in students, the skills and critical awareness necessary to be responsible members of society.
