Who
Employs Our Graduates?
Kwantlen
Polytechnic University Public Safety Communications program prepares students
for career opportunities in public safety and related areas.
Graduates are
employed in communications roles for:
- police
- fire
- emergency medical communications centres
such as BCAS and HealthLink BC
- airport operations
- City of Vancouver 3-1-1 Centre
- regulators of dangerous goods
- emergency planners
- others in the emergency communications
field
- non-emergency communication agencies
including utilities, public transportation, courier companies and any type
of agency that employs people to perform call taking and dispatch
functions.
