Composition
In accordance with the University Act, Kwantlen Polytechnic University will establish a Senate composed as follows:- Chancellor
- President & Vice Chancellor (Chair of Senate)
- Vice President, Academic
- Deans of Faculties
- Chief Librarian
- Registrar (non-voting)
- Faculty Senators (two from each Faculty)
- Student Senators (four)
- Alumni Senator
- Professional Support Staff (two)
- Board Appointee (non-voting)
Faculty, Student and Professional Support Staff are elected for three-, one- and three-year terms, respectively.
Alumni Senator is nominated by the Alumni Association for a three-year term.
Professional Support Staff are elected from and by members of the University community at large. This group includes all employees who are not faculty members, deans or officers of the University.
