Social Justice Room -- Birch Building, Room 208
Welcome to The Social Justice Room! This space was designated to the division of Student Life and Community in September of 2011 to provide space on campus for Kwantlen student clubs to gather, meet, work, and have fun.
The Social Justice Room is located at the Surrey Campus on the second floor of the Birch building, next door to the campus cafeteria. It is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 - 5:00 pm.
Bookable Space
The Social Justice Room contains a meeting table and 3 business stations for student club use. In addition, the room is wi-fi equipped and has a small kitchenette and outdoor patio space. Below is a more detailed description of the space available for clubs to book:
1. Meeting Table - The meeting table seats up to 10 people. The meeting tables are a great location for clubs to hold their monthly meetings, or special event planning sessions.
2. Business Stations - There are 3 Club Business Stations located in the Social Justice Room. Each station comes equipped with a desk, and a land line telephone. Please contact studentevents@kwantlen.ca for more information about the Business Stations.
