Our Leadership Programs are built on the belief that "leadership" is for everyone -- not just for positional leaders.Grow your skills and confidence as a leader and contributor. Make your own success more likely and increase your capacity to make the world a better place as well. Opportunities range from short duration to longer-term, from lower to higher responsibility as well.
Employers value additional experience; leadership and service contributions are great additions to your University experience!

ORIENTATION STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAMBe part of the team welcoming new students to KPU in the Fall! O-Leaders receive training and prepare to lead a group of new students during Orientation Week before Fall semester. New students appreciate their student perspective, friendliness and helpful info. |

STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCEThis annual 2-day event focuses on building leadership and citizenship capacity in KPU students and alumni -- a truly inspiring as well as practical event! Apply to be on the Student Planning Committee or Event Volunteer Team, or buy a ticket to be a conference participant and you will have an awesome experience. |
![]() LEADERSHIP GUEST SPEAKERS Each semester we host speakers to present topics related to leadership and influence, related to personal/career success as well as social inflence and positive change. These events are open to all, and usually free of charge. Watch for announcements and upcoming speakers. |
SPONSORSHIP of CO-CURRICULAR PROJECTS Some funding is available through Student Leadership & Development to support projects that enhance student leadership development, student-faculty collaboration, and the connection between in-and-outside of class learning activities. |
