No previous experience is needed as extensive training and ongoing support is provided. Volunteer Richmond is a non-profit, charitable organization that aims to bring people and services together through providing information and encouraging volunteerism in the community.

The objective of the program is youth helping youth. The Buddy/Youth program provides free services to help new immigrant youth settle, adjust, and feel comfortable in B.C. The program provides opportunities for positive connections and networking between newly arrived immigrants and non-immigrant youth.

Peace Child India believes in the energy and talent of socially and economically underprivileged people. The Peace Child India office is proud to have bridged several cultural and social barriers and myths in the search to promote a more equitable and caste free Indian society.
Virsa is a community based, non-profit organization that was formed in December 2002 by members of the Sikh community who felt an urgent need to launch a response from within the community, to address the escalating level of violence among South Asian youth.
