- Our student leadership team is a central part of the success of orientation. Participating in this team is a great opportunity to make a difference in the life of Kwantlen and to build you leadership and teamwork skills (and your resume). Other Kwantlen Opportunities

Kwantlen Student Association: Interested in getting involved with student government, either as an elected representative or volunteer? The Kwantlen Student Association is a democratic, student-run organization. Our council and the campus councils on each campus are elected in general elections held every year in February or March. By-elections may be held throughout the year when a position becomes vacant. In addition, major decisions about the KSA are made through referendum, including all decisions to set students fees. Club Leadership

Tutoring at the Learning Centre:
Consider tutoring in the Learning Centre if you are strong in a particular subject. Tutors help other students with their course work. They help other students figure out parts of the course that they haven't quite understood yet, and show other students how to study for a particular subject.  KPU Athletics - Game Day Staff: Get paid to work with the Atheltics and Recreation Department as a student-assistant or become a part of the Eagles game-day event staff! Game-day event staff are paid to help run the soccer and basketball games wiht jobs ranging from scorekeeping to event hosting. For more information, visit kwantlen.ca/eagles

Career Days Volunteer: Kwantlen Career Days are a free career and employment fair for all Kwantlen students, alumni, and faculty. It is an excellent opportunity to make valuable industry contacts, gather information, hear about job leads, and practice promoting yourself. President's Ambassadorial Team: The President's Ambassadorial Team is comprised of a group of fifteen outstanding students from all disciplines who work directly with the President and the President's external Affairs Advisor to publicly represent Kwantlen Polytechnic University in the communities that we serve. Members of the team attend Kwantlen and community events and functions and represent Kwantlen as an extension of the Office of the President.
